Uncle Orlando

The beans are very sad today as Uncle Orlando died this morning. He was having seizures because his kidneys had stopped working properly, so Ginny the vet had to help him to the Bridge.

We only met Uncle Orlando a few times as he was still getting used to us living here. We are sad that we didn’t get to know him very well. You can read more about Uncle Orlando on Scott’s blog.

  1. Uncle Orlando was a very handsome mancat and I can tell he had a good long life and was very loved (I looked at his birthday pictures on the other blog). Nonetheless it is so difficult when our babies go to the bridge even though it is their time. I lost my calico girl a few months ago and she was almost 19! I send my heartfelt condolences to you. Hold tight to Oliver and Ruby they will help you through.

  2. We’re so sorry Uncle Orlando had to run off to the Bridge. It’s incredibly difficult to lose a beloved family member, even when we know it’s time. (((Hugs))), kitty kisses and Light to all.

  3. We are so very sad to hear that Orlando has gone but we know that your dadies did the kindest thing letting him go, so that he didn’t suffer. We guessed he was near the end when we saw a recent pic of him on your daddy’s blog ~ he looked thin and tired.
We know how heartbroken you will all be feeling today so we are sending purrs and ((((((hugs)))))).

We will miss that beautiful ginger boy.

  4. We first saw the photo come up and thought WOW what a handsomc orange kitty…and then we read the news. We are so sorry to hear about Uncle Orlando going to the Bridge. We send our deepest purrs.
