Friday Night with Ruby

Hi everyone it’s Ruby here!

Scott says he is sorry that he hasn’t let us near the computer this week. Anyway, here’s a picture of me watching Friday night TV.

Today we had to deal with the suck-monster all day as Scott was cleaning the house. We hate it when all of our fur is stripped off the furniture and rugs! So much work to do to to re-upholster everything!

  1. Ruby, we detest the suck-o-lator too. It’s noisy, and we’re pretty sure it wants to eat us. The fur is only the beginning of its evil plans!

  2. Jazz leaps onto the suck machines’ tubes and bites them. Jewel hides in the wardrobe and cries. Not certain who sends it away, the biter or the crier but it only comes out once a week. And J and J LOVE putting more fur down.

  3. Even though I’m a macho Mancat, I find myself afraid of the vacuum cleaner…Neytiri likes it though! Too bad all your hard work of re-upholstering is gone. I, myself, think gray furs go well with everything!

  4. Hey, Ruby, we’ll be right over to help you fur up the furniture and rugs again!

  5. Looks like you have a very comfy TV chair, Ruby. I guess you and Oliver are going to be busy this weekend re-furring the house 🙂

  6. Well, that’s pretty awful, not being allowed to blog all week and then having all your hard work sucked off the furniture and rugs! Your humans have behaved very badly this week!

  7. No blogging and then the vacumn-monster ~ it’s not good enuff!

  8. We sympathise Ruby – you just get it furred to purrfection and the sucky monster makes another appearance.

  9. I’m sure there’s a reason the suck-o-later was used. Maybe you’ll have strange guests over the weekend.

  10. The humans just make work for themselves and everyone else, don’t they?

    Lovely shot of you, Ruby!

Hey Ruby, do you shed much? My little girl doesn’t shed heaps, so I don’t have to use the sucky machine too much. She’s not overly fond of it either, occasionally she will attack it!

  12. I know how you feel, Ruby. After our cleaning lady comes on Fridays, I have to spend HOURS spreading my furs around again. Teddy went one better this week and ran through the house with muddy paws. He hopes you are proud of him.

  13. That is a lot of work to get that fur back on the furniture. Why oh why do that have to use that monster on our furs. You do look comfy there Ruby. Take care and have a great week.

  14. Hi, beautiful Ruby! I am happy to come help you re-fur, too. I’m good at doing a body-roll, and I’ve got very long furs.
