What’s New?

Hi evrfurrybody it’s Oliver! What’s noo wif yoo?

I have my worried ears on ‘cos we are all hiding owt in the kitchen. This morning the workmen are upstairs installing the double-glazed windows. They are making some banging noises. I’m not sure exactly what double glazing is but Scott says it will keep us all warmer in the winter and I am more than happy for that to happen! Just so long as we can keep watching Berd TV through the noo windows!

What else is happening? Rose is getting verry suspicious ‘cos she keeps getting brushed and groomed when she least expects it. She doesn’t like the brush and tries to give it the bitey and the claw. I fink she might be going to her furst cat show tomorrow – tee hee! She is verry byootiful so maybe she’ll get a ribbon like we did here and here.

Next Toosday we are turning one year old!

I will keep yoo updated wif all our noos.

  1. Jazz n Jewel hide out from workmen (and other loud noises) in the wardrobe. Jewel can’t open it, but Jazz opens it for them.

  2. It sounds like there is a lot of excitement going on at your house!

  3. Where did that year go to. It seems like yesterday since you first mentioned them.

  4. Oh goodness, we can’t believe that you are a year old already. That sure was fast. Hope Rose does well at the cat show but we know that she will since she is so gorgeous. Thanks for all the news. Take care.

  5. Hi Oliver! We don’t like it when the worker guys are here either! They make waaaaay too much noise!! Good luck to Rose at the show!! May she get lots of ribbons!!!

  6. We hate those noisy men who come not to mention all the mess they leave behind. We are sure that Rose will do well at the show – she is a furry pretty young lady cat.

  7. A year already? Gee, how the months fly by! We hope you’ll be having a grand celebration!

Good luck to Rose, we hope she has fun. 🙂

And you’ll have to report back on the state of the windows, Oliver, to assure us that you all still *can* bird watch.

  8. We don’t like noisy workman around here either but it will be worth it when all of you are toasty warm this winter!!! Good luck tomorrow Rose, we can’t wait to hear all about it 🙂

  9. Cats hearing is so acute they can hear things we can’t, so we can imagine the banging is super annoying. At leas they know it’ll make them warmer in the winter. Rose is stunning and a winner.

  10. Oliver boy do I feel you pain with the new windows being installed. I can hear the banging all the way over here across the pond. We had new siding put on our house two weeks ago then the power washed the house and the deck and painted. Mom and I were sequestered in the ‘puter room when they painted the exterior doors. I hope by now all the noise is over you you have a relaxing weekend. Wish Rose good luck

  11. It is sooooo good that your Scott and Mark had the inside door fitted to your kitchen so you can all hide in there safely while all the bangs and booms and clatters go on upstairs.

The Noo windows will be wonderful for winter warmth and cosy snoozles coz the sun can still shine in while your indoor warmth will be trapped inside by the double wotzit windows. And berd tv should still be highly viewable!

Sending care and huggles, and Zebby Cat LOUD purrumbles to you, dear Oliver, your lovely sisters and wonderful hoomans,

    Michelle xxxxx

  12. Miss Rose will better get the most giantest, Bluest, most gorgeous ribbon paws down or there is something seriously wrong with the judges! I will email myself including my claws of doom, ready to come flying out the box at them if they attempt to give her any less!

    xoxo

  13. Ace reporting, Oliver! Probably under the table would be the safest spot from the Dreaded Workermen. Please keep us up to date on how the Luverly Miss Rose does in the (her) show!

  14. A year already…. Wow…. Hope you have a wonderful weekend…. And Happy soon-to-be Birthday.

    pawhugs, Max

  15. OLiver
We bet you will love your new windows! But we know that we too do not like loud banging so I hope that is all over so you can just watch Birdy TV. Good luck Rose!

  17. We don’t like strange loud noises either.
Good luck to Rose in her first show.

  18. I hope Miss Rose enjoys her show! I am sure she will do well. Oliver, you are looking very handsome there.

  19. Hmmmm…double glazing is not good…unless it involves doughnuts!

Best of luck to our pal Rose!
