The Giant Suck Monster

Hi evfurrybody it’s Oliver!

Yoo know, on Fridays we usually haf to deal with the Suck Monster that Scott zooms around the howse that picks up all our preshuss furs and stuff. Today though we saw a GIANT suck monster owtside!

Yoo would not believe yoor eyes! We were all very brave and watched it from the upstairs window.

It took two men to work it. The Suck Monster goes up and down the street and collects all the leaves that have fallen off the trees! For the stubborn leaves they get the giant suck hose owt too! It spent a good half an hour on our street! By the time it finished all three of us went crazy around the howse playing thundering herds – we were so excited!

In other noos, Scott and Mark had verry impawtant guests to dinner on Monday night. We had nevver met a real Sir and Lady before but they seemed to like us! We were on our best behaviour, well, all except for Ruby who wanted to be part of the conversation at the dinner table and kept jumping on Sir H’s lap and then on the table… He didn’t seem to mind though, and Lady S wanted to smuggle Rose owt in her handbag – tee hee! Luckily both Rose and Ruby didn’t steal any necklaces, earrings or scarves as they have been known to do in the past!

  1. Wow…. i’ve never seen one like that in our neighborhood. I’m glad you’re up high like us, so you don’t run the risk of getting inhaled. The dinner party sounds neat. Hope you deposited a little fur on them so they will hav a souvenir…
    Happy Thanksgiving to you three.

    pawhugs, Max

  2. Now that is one gigantic suck machine. That could pick up just anything. Glad you three were not outside. Ruby, we sure are glad you weren’t smuggled out of the house by that nice guest. You all take care and have a wonderful Wed.

  3. We’ve never seen a giant sucky machine like that too! We don’t think we’d want to!

So you all are moving in very high circles, huh? Well, we hope your dinner guests will remember you at Christmas-time, purrhaps with diamond studded food dishes or something similar. 😉

  4. We had one of those machines in our Close on Monday – it makes such a loud noise that we had to put our paws over our ears!
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx

  5. Great idea – we don’t have those here!

  6. You all did an excellent job of snoopervising the street cleaning! It would not have gone so well without you, we’re sure!!

  7. Sheesh, as if the inside such monster isn’t bad enough!!! Luckily your guests were cat people 🙂

  8. It sounds as though you were on your very best behaviour and quite charmed Sir and lady!

That is a mega-sucky monster indeed!

  9. Jazz n Jewel hid in the wardrobe when the giant suck n brush monster was in our street. You are very, very brave. And they played thunderings when they came out as well.

  10. Wow, such excitement at your house! And aren’t you glad that suck monster was outside and not in?

  11. Yikes! That’s one huge sucking monster!! Good thing it was outside!

And how nice that you got to meet some fancy peoples!

  12. We’ve never seen a giant suck monster before! We bet it is fun to watch as long as it stays outside!

Your dinner with the Sir and Lady sounds really nice! We bet they will want to come back again to see your sweet faces, and your daddys too of course!

  13. Wowie! We are not lucky enough to have street suck monsters at our place…so mom and dad have to scrape up the leaves themselves.

So happy Miss Rose did not get smuggled out. That happens at our house. Guests are always threatening to smuggle my momma Ellie out the door in purses and such. I mean…that’s my MOMMA!!! She belongs here with me.

  14. There are sucky monsters like that in our area too. Not good.
